The touch screens of Apple devices like iPod Touch, iPhone and iPad and highly refined, but if there is one thing common to all iOS devices, it is the irritating auto-correct feature that gets on your nerves all too often.
If you use some uncommon words regularly, you can get around the problem by adding them to the dictionary. Please note that the words you added will be underlined in red color (but not auto-corrected).
- To do so, go to Settings > General > Keyboards > International Keyboards > Add New Keyboard.
- Select Japanese “Ten Key”.
- Go to General – Keyboard – Edit User Dictionary.
- Here you can add custom words which will now be recognized as you type, globally, on your iPhone (See # 1 and # 2 in my uploaded photo).
